Operated by Wray House Biogas
Wray House is a 200kW Anaerobic Digestion plant in North Yorkshire.
The site processes organic waste thereby reducing the greenhouse gas emissions associated with spreading farm waste, this in turn contributes to the government’s commitment to deliver zero waste by 2020.
The farm provides existing feedstock which is supplemented with energy crops.
The electricity produced is used on the farm and sold to the National Grid, the farm also benefits from the resultant digestate for use as a high-quality fertiliser.
